Collection: Tatted Sweater

Shruthi Aramandla designed the Tatted Sweater in our sport weight yarn and I honestly cant get enough of it.

This is a garment with a story and a nod to the generational beauty of fiber crafts in an inception-like way. Inspired by her mother's making, Shru used Harmless Hickey and Black Black to render a fascinating motif that calls on her tatted earrings with sincerity and depth. To me, this yoke feels wholly unique and incredibly nuanced with just a touch of midcentury modern.

The tension between the starkness of the black and the softness of the mauve makes this yoke come to life. With an emphasis on negative space, I'm not sure I've ever seen another sweater cant like it. And I just love that.

In the words of the designer "The Tatted Sweater was inspired by the tatting earrings my mom has made for my sister and I over the years. This was created as a homage to the woman who has been into fiber arts for most of her life and inspires me daily."

How lovely.

Below you can get the exact yarn that Shruthi used for her version!
