The Vision:
July feels like a glowy dose of inspiration for me. If you've been here for a minute, you may recall when I saw the Northern Lights last fall during a solar flare and being really moved by that experience. Those colors really sat with me, and I had been waiting for a way to render them in yarn for awhile. Queue Julianna of Julianna M Knits with a striking concept for her fingering weight Interplay Cowl, and my idea developed a bit more with a modern edge. 

Two interlocking fades come together for curious contrast this month. The tension between hues here is simply fun. Paired with 4 different Main Colors, the possibilities are endless. We focused two MCs around a "Dawn" theme: Luna Moth and Milk Blue. As well as two MCs designed around a "Dusk" theme; Ube and Wedgewood (WHICH IS A NEW LOVELY DENIM BLUE THAT JUST JOINED THE SHOP!)  The purity of greens, aquas and fuchsias paired with deep blues call on the aurora borealis ripping across the night sky, but after that this pattern is pure play. Grab this kit and watch color tension get pushed to its limits on your needles!
