Gamboge/Spring Green Melt

Kelpy, fresh greens with a dramatic flare in temperature...This Melt has a special note of dissonance to it because we are spanning two discordant hues. While either end is packed with buzz, the middle is alllll harmony. 

Stemming from my recent obsession with my best friends carnivorous plant bog, which is densely packed with mosses and what we refer to as "micro-worlds" these colors needed somewhere very specific to be explored. Alex and I return to these hues again and again and again, and I have been waffling on exactly how I want to render them. I've returned to my pots several times with Micro-Worlds in mind, and have seemed to be circling exactly what I was hunting for.

It was when we found this slight drop in chroma in the middle that it felt grounded and complete. The highest keys on either end, frame the nuance of what we have happening here: something romantic, both earthen and otherworldly.  Pair with a red-orange like Crab and watch it come to life.

You can get this palette for as long as it's on my loom, but only on the bases I feel like dyeing it on. So you can get this on our SW bases--  50g (minus fingering, my mill is out) and 100g. As for Mini Kits, what is in stock is what we've got!
