Red Tailed Hawk

Red Tailed Hawk is a warm and curious shade of russet brown, much like its namesake. This rich color, inspired by the generations of Red Tailed Hawks that nest in our backyard every year, has a hint of a predatory vibe. But don't worry, it's all in good fun!

These majestic birds have a special routine of returning to the same spot to raise their young, incubating their eggs for over a month and nurturing their fledglings for about 45 days. And every summer/fall, we get to hear the proud momma hawk urging her babies to spread their wings and take flight. Her powerful and haunting call fills the air, narrating our summers and falls with a playful "You can do it! Just try! You're made for this!" Or at least, that's how we like to think of it - to the untrained ear, it might just sound like, "CAWWWWWW!!!"
