Graphite//Frost Melt

My stepmom meant to send a picture of Costco salmon to my brother the other day, but accidentally texted it to me instead. And I am so glad she did. It fits perfectly into one of my most recent color obsessions: crisp cools + orange = yes.

I have explored this little formula for a while now, and I thought I was done with it. But the unsuspecting sophistication of this cellophane-wrapped salmon platter really struck a chord in me.  

A dramatic value study, and a subtle hue study. Deep charcoal fading all the way to cream before we just. barely. inch. toward. frost. blue. But don't quite get there.

This Hue Melt is dynamic in the most subtle way possible. This 10 colorway fade can be paired with a myriad of Main Colors, but I prefer it with Red Jasper. Red Jasper is sold separately, but shown here for oomph.

You can get this palette for as long as it's on my loom, but only on the bases I feel like dyeing it on.  Dyed-to-order on our 50g SW bases--  and 20g Mini Kits as long as they are in stock.
