Fauvistic Lilac
Fauvistic Lilac
Fuavism was a painting movement in France around 1905-1910. Henri Matisse really lead the charge in this pocket of art history. Denoted by emotional color palettes and dramatic brush strokes... Fauvism was a genre entirely of its own. Paintings filled with Power Clashes of straight-from-the-tube-color! This icy, pale lilac is one of the hues that energized so many of the slapdash and emphatic Fauvist paintings. There's no other word for it, it's Fuavistic Lilac.
This colorway is making a huge comeback in the fashion world right now, and your needles aren't shy, they are thirsty for a little fauvism too.
