English Lavender is a dizzyingly fragrant and complex purple. Inspired by the lavender variety I grow in my garden. I like to keep so much of it growing that I can smell it and hear the bees when I walk by. 

This year, I was truly shocked when my biggest plant flowered.. the blooms were much higher-key and more synthetic than I was expecting. It was the perfect pop of luminous purple when my eyes scanned the beds.. I knew immediately that I had to render the hue. 

It is our anchor here in the Lullaby Palette. The beauty that holds the note for the whole thing. 

Maybe my favorite purple I've ever dyed.

Care Instructions

All fiber dyed at Baby Cat is 100% superwash wool, or a nearby blend. For care, it is recommended you hand wash warm, and dry flat! No dryers, no bleach, no aggressive aggitation-- other than that, should be simple as pie!
