Collection: Curious Palette

Curious Palette is just that-- my personal curiosities and discoveries as a dyer, painter and artist. 

Here things might read a little different. This palette will grow as I grow as a dyer!

Each of these colorways are achieved by me crossing the color wheel and mixing unconventional colors together. Color theory and discovery is *it* for me. Here you won't get flowery descriptions or a cohesive feel.

Here you will get strong individual hues that break the mold of what feels within the bounds of common colors. You will also get color descriptions that tell you how these colors were made and what colors I mixed to land on them.

I treat this Palette like my painters palette-- a little here, a little there and seeing what happens along the way. I have been a dyer for over 7 years, and there's so much more to learn- these are colors that happen when I go out on a limb and try something new with no particular vision in mind; only curiosity.

"What would happen if I mix a cerulean blue with a poppy red? Forest green and red brown? A hot pink with a spearmint green?" Thats where these curiosities begin-- in the unknown that I can't *quite* visualize yet!
